I use both Mouser and Digi-Key for parts. Digi-Key charges a handling charge
for orders under $25, I think. As for the manual imbalance, one of the
KLM-244 tone generator boards (the big boards) has trim pots on it for each
of the drawbar levels. It's usually built into the upper manual. You can use
these to match the levels on the lower manual.



Are you planning on "recapping" the whole thing (all caps) or just the ones
that look bad? What I did was to find the ones that look bad and replace
all caps of that value if I felt that there was a trend towards those parts
having a problem. In my case they were all 10/16s. Your results may vary
;-)
