If you want to keep it simple and light, how about this:

Keep your Roland for piano sounds.
Add a Nord Electro 73 - very good organ, EPs, Clavs
Add a Virus C desktop or go for a Moog Voyager rack

The Virus C or Voyager rack could (probably) sit on top of the Electro and give you access
to all the controls. No worry about the Voyager going out of style!

Use the Roland to control the Electro EPs and Clav. The electro action and velocity curves
don't do justice to the EPs.
