I've used George L's on dozens of guitar pedalboard projects. You can get
the parts online, but they were also sold through Guitar Center. You can
make the exact length you need, mix and match end plugs, and they go
together with just a razor blade and a screwdriver-- no soldering. George
L's are quite durable and they have a very good reputation for sonic
