I'm 99% sure these are double-pole switches, and they are
Roland/Boss like my sustain switch. I think a single-pole switch is
what's going to work, if I can find one.

on. Some
keyboards do this with the sustain pedal. Try switching on whilst
the pedal is
depressed.

I tried this, still the same result. I know there's a single-pole
switch out there somewhere
