Yeah, you could do that.. I just have the PA guys plug into my signal out
from my on-stage mixer.

David,

I had read a while ago that it was possible to have the 2101 (with the low
rotor sim plugged into a bass amp) on stage for ambient coverage and also be
able to use one of the stereo outputs of the XK (containing the Leslie sim)
for the house system. This would be grand because myself and the lads can
appreciate the moving air and yet I can still hit the audience with the
similar (non-air-moving) effect via the Mains. That was going to be my plan
of attack.

Peter

PS... Do you use any kind of case (or other protection) when transporting
the Leslie?

Peter,

That's exactly how I do it. I have my XK3 routed through my SE rack, then
into the 2101. The low rotor out goes into a Mackie Mixer. I have a SRM58
slipped under he side handle of the 2101 to pick up the horn. Then it all
goes into one SRM450. Louder than F#@$!

Thanks for getting back to me. What you explained to me makes sense. Now,
it appears that if I need more volume, I could also have the 2101's simmed
low rotor output sent to another amp via 1/4" jack and in order to amplify
the treble rotor's output I'd have to put a mic on it. Am I correct?

Yes, the small speakers provide the digital low rotor as well as any
stationary channel signal. When the XK-3 is set for a 2-3 channel
Leslie and the break and Leslie on buttons are off, the sound is sent
out the stationary channel to the small speakers and the tweeters
only. The horn is not used. If the break button is lit the sound goes
through the stopped horn as well as the small speakers.

When the 2101 is connected to a 2121 or other amp, those small
speakers can be muted or left active.
