Subject:MS Pro-145/KBR-M ? for New CX-3
Hi,
This is my first post, looks like a great group, plenty traffic,
etc. I have a new digital CX-3 V2 and I'm thinking of getting a rotary
speaker for it. A lot of people seem to thing the Leslie sim in the CX-3 is
pretty good as it is, and I have it running into two Genelec 1030 monitors
(300W total) at present which give the sim a good chance to perform. I
don't want a real Leslie as I don't like old electrical gear (had bad
experiences with 50's,60's and 70's shortwave receivers) so I'm looking at
a mechanical Leslie clone.
Anybody have any comments, especially specific to the CX-3
regarding the MS Pro-145 and the cheaper KBR-M ? The KBR-M only has one
organ input, please excuse my ignorance but could I combine the two CX-3
outputs into one to plug in to the KBR-M ? This isn't an issue on the Pro-145.
I'm not made of money, and unfortunately can't try before I buy as
no one in the UK seems to have these in stock, so you've just got to take
the plunge !
Thanks and Greetings !
Mike
