Thanks to Yahoo's new machinations, we can no longer cut and snip these posts when we want to reply. Sorry for that, but looking at this post, I doubt the veracity of the "customer" here.

First off, if you want to purchase an item while doing a trade-in, exactly how do you expect that to transpire on email? You couldn't make that happen with a friend (Hey buddy, let's swap) without a phone call, much less to ANY instrument dealer.

Second, if you really just want to purchase a preamp without a sales pitch, the website is already set up to do just that, with all options priced ready to go.

Third, read further down: "not trying to be negative, since most here idolize Speakeasy, and I don't want to run the risk of being ostracized or set myself up for personal attacks," blahblahblah.

You read into it what you will; I already have.

prices without calling and possibly dealing with some salesman's pitch
on his product. Anyone have suggestions for a quality alternative.
Just looking for some straight answers and customer service without
being brushed aside.
