I agree. The XK-1's additional sounds are very GM-sounding to my ears.
However, the bass options are something else. I rarely ever get to play
left hand bass in either of my bands but the other night, I was messing
around playing some solo stuff and used the XK-1's split bass and... Holy
Crap! Those 8' & 16' combinations are downright awesome. If ever I was
called on to supply organ (or synth) bass at a gig, I'd have no
reservations, what-so-ever.
