To me, what I'm hearing is just jazz. It's what I expect of jazz from the
more freeform style especially bebop. But to the point of her talent, I
googled her, went to her home page, and the variety of music there is incredible
to me. What's here is one style. She apparently has been weaned on jazz from
a child and whether or not the style is to a personal liking, there is no
doubt in my mind if you can play that style with its demanding techniques, you
can play many others as well and that is evident by looking at the volume of
recordings that she's played on etc. The sheer talent that is displayed in
her recordings and other videos, in all sorts of styles has blown me away.
Seeing this and becoming aware of her, to me, has expanded my concept of what
is possible on a hammond. Just my 2cents.
