Subject:Speakeasy Rd BoxIII

Hi all , this is MikeW . Since I've gotten this box and been playing
with it for awhile , I wish to share some of my discoveries . My clone
the V5plus, undoubtedly sound monstrous thru this box but it has some
defeciencies. The Rdbox is made in such a way that what ever clone is
play thru it its going to sound as is.I had to buy two things in order
to get my signature sound out of it. The 2 things are the Boss GE7
equalizer and the Boss SuperChorus. The V5 plus Chorus was model after
the B3 so to me it needed a little boost. I bought it and the GE7
because the high frequencies of the drawbars were killing me. With the
GE7 I had to boost the low frequencies and soften the high by lower it
just a notch down and the bass 1 notch up. The Chorus just 1 notch of
increasing rate and VOILA!!!!!! I finally got my sound !!!!!!! Where
as when I play the Hammond CV (love that Sound)thru the RDBIII its
AWESOME . Now that I have replicated that sound I can truly say I'm
FINISHED!!!!!!MIkeW.
