Subject:Voce Spin II - What does it "really" sound like?

I've been a long time Hammond junkie and have partially quenched my
thirst for the perfect clone through use of a combination of the B4II
and Logic's EVB3 Leslie Simulation.

The trouble is that this rig isn't exactly portable. I've been looking
at and listening to the XK3 quite thoroughly and while the straight
tone is great, the Leslie sim is quite lacking.

Looking into the Voce Spin II brings up a big question of mine: "What
does this thing actually sound like?"

I've heard the MP3 from www.purgatorycreek.com as linked to through
the Files section of this site:

and the demo MP3's of the V5+ and Spin II from Voce's site:

The Purgatory Creek demo leaves quite a bit to be desired, not
sounding anything like a Leslie to my ears, yet the Voce Inc. demos
sound absolutely amazing, especially on the Fast setting.

How can this be if both sets of demos were supposedly using the V5/V5+
and the Spin II?

Does anyone know what it is we are listening to in the Voce Inc.
demos? This can't be the same product as the in the Purgatory Creek
MP3 can it?

I'm so confused. Can Dave Amels possibly shed some light on this?

Thank you.
