Subject:U.S. V-stand

Has anyone tried this stand?
I tried it at the G.C. and is sure seemed wobbly. The v-shaped legs had a tendency to creep inward if the stand was slight rocked while fully extended.
I'm wondering if the legs can be locked in place or that's the way it is.
Seems like a great stand and a good design but it again comes down to stability and no one seems to be able to conquer that issue.
They've got strength, size and portability down but no stability.
The search continues.
