This Bob Seger album has been remastered, and is available from all the usual places (Amazon, CD Dimensions, etc.). "Smokin' OP's" means "rippin' through other people's (OP's) tunes." Essentially, it's an album of covers -- but what a performance!

As much as I liked the Silver Bullet Band era, the earlier stuff with the trio has much more energy, and a very unique sound. I wish they could have continued on, but apparently the band members were starting to go in different directions by that time.
