Subject:Re: Lee Michaels

I have "Lee Michaels" and "Live", and they're both good. Not really in the same vein as the artists you mentioned, but more rocking. It's vocal music, with duo backing. The Hammond is GRINDING!!!

Hey -

Can anyone point me toward a good "starter" Lee Michaels CD? I've loved
the usual 888000000/3d Harmonic jazz giants since early childhood (age 6,
when an aunt, bless her, bought me an LP of Organ Grinder Swing [Spring 1970,
from Sam Goody's on West 49th St. in NYC])... I play and listen to a lot of J.
Smith, J. McGriff, J. McDuff, Holmes, DeFrancesco et al; but I've never heard
Lee Michaels' music.

Any help appreciated ! Best wishes- Adam
