I tried out the Roland RD-300sx a while back and thought it's piano sounds
and it's lightweight hammer action were pretty decent. An added plus was
the fact that it only weighed 37Lbs! I thought it's weakest sounds were
perhaps the "B3" patches but since you'd be using a clonewheel, you'd be in
very good shape.

Hello all,

I'm looking around for an 88 note lightweight hammer action piano to
compliment my Electro. I tried a Yamaha P70, loved the action and
sound, but it's designed more for the home market and doesn't have the
real time controls that I need to play live. I'm now considering the
Roland FP2. Any comments or suggestions are most welcome.
