I've never liked Peavey amps....I have a Roland KC-550, 180 watts...sounds good and screams...run my motif es8, cx-3, and a modular synth trough it

I would second the notion to be careful about Peavey equipment. They have a
very "boxy" sound. The phrase "they don't sound very good, but at least
they're heavy" definitely applies!

Subject: RE: [CWSG] OT Peavey Keyboard Amps
Hey Dave .... be careful with Peavey ... I found a KB300 used for $150 bucks
and tried to use it on my Electro. It was VERY compressed and the more I
turned it up the worse the compression got. It really didnt do justice to
the wonderful sounds on an Electro .... I'm not sure about the newer lines
but I'm just speaking of my personal experience. Hope that helps.
Bo
