Yamaha has a new CP33 that might well be what your looking for.
It is supposed to have MIDI controller capabilities and mono piano samples.

The Casio 300/310 gets better reviews. If all you want to use is its
piano then look no further - but don't play another model and
assume 'no good' (that 555 you checked out is a kid's learning toy).
If what you're really looking for is not, "an 88 note lightweight
hammer action piano to compliment my Electro," but a piano that will
provide lots of typical standard midi functions in addition, then the
excellent Casio Privia PX300/PX310 acoustic pianos are not what you
want = you're looking for a piano midi controller.
With my PX300 and PX310 I generally set the NE2 Rack on the left end
on a couple of dark foam pads, leaving just enough room to poke a
finger under and press the Control/Function button to switch between
Local On/Off. I play the Electro entirely from the Casio. When I want
the Casio's Grand 1 Piano, I select an Electro organ patch with no
drawbars out, press the Casio's Control button and a keyboard key
which silently puts the Casio back into Local On mode - and I'm
playing its great Grand 1 acoustic piano from a fine piano action.
Works for me - I understand it could be one button push too many for
some.
