Definately leave them in. The diffuser changes the percieved source
of the tone, thus yielding a deeper doppler FM effect. Without the
diffuser, the perceived source is the center of the horn, thus a less
perceived FM effect, and more of the AM effect.
Its ok, I made that mistake once years ago, and will not make that
mistake again :)
