Bottom line...leave em in, it sounds way better. If they have been removed buy a replacement horn and live the true Leslie sound!

The Hamtech guys can explain this in frequency modulations etc.
But essentially that's what happens. That's why they call them diffusers.

Hi all, I use my NE2 with a 145 Leslie. The diffusers on the top horn
were removed a long time ago. I was just wondering from those who use a
real leslie with their clone. How many have the diffusers on or off?
And what the reasoning for that would be. Any help would be appreciated.
