Subject:Re: Drawbar Setting Libraries/FIFTH OF FIRTH

Den121961:

As always, I'm intrigued when I hear of/read new (to me) drawbar
registrations.

A couple of Qs... do you use percussion on any of the settings you
posted? And generally, for what kind of music(-ae) do you pull these settings?
Especially those two registrations which you use for soloing?

About 6 months ago I accidentally set up 08 88888 80, and was
immediately grabbed... it reminded me instantly of the beginning notes to ELP's Karn
Evil 9.

And whilst still in the prog vein... though it SOUNDS like a pretty
standard Full Organ registration, does anyone know the d-b setting used in the
great Genesis ("Selling England By The Pound") track, "Fifth Of Firth"?

To me one of the greatest aspects of a clonewheel-esque message board
environment is, one drawbar sound heard on a recording can be interpreted
myriad ways by so many of us.

Thanks in advance and a fine summer to all - Adam
