I have a C3 and a Leslie 147.
I did the Hammond/Leslie hook-up by myself ... Let me know if I can offer any help.
The leslie hook-up comes from the "G terminal" from the C3's pre-amp. The "hot" wire comes from one of the G-terminals, and the other (cold) wire is from the "ground".

Thanks for the welcome and the early info!

It's definitely a C-3! No internal speakers on this one!

I have noticed that playing alone has helped the contacts to seemingly clean
themselves...

The little town I live in is Wilton, 5 miles W of Bemidji.

I'm also curious: does one have to change out the speaker sockets in order
to accomodate the extra wires for the Leslie? I would assume so...
