purchase will be the Motion Sound 1771 leslie. I've heard it and
wow!!!!!!
First report i've heard on that rig.
Could you please elaborate on what you like about it?
It is a solid state unit, biamped, but with no potential for tube amp distortion. When I asked Bill Brown his opinion of it he offered one word: "warmth"- in a solid state unit. John Fisher's statement on my questioning SS and warmth being used together was: "What do you use to listen to your organ CD's?"
There seems to be a lot of extra good things in the construction- they use a Delta LF 15 bass speaker which does lows extra well. There are separate Bass and treble tonecontrols, vol controls, speed of upper and lowerrotors and ramp times, wooden lower rotor, Quiet DC motors, etc.
But does that add up to sound quality that can challenge a Leslie?
I would appreciate your expanding on the wow, please.
Thanks,
Harold
