Subject:Half Moon Switch on custom rack
Hi Clonewheelers,
I bought a half moon switch from Speakeasy a couple of years ago and
wired it along with an on-off switch to control my KBR-3D (very easy
to do) and I totally love it compared to the Motion Sound foot
switch. I Have it mounted on a custom rack I built that holds a Voce
V5, Microverb, rack mount Speakeasy pre-amp, & all the other stuff I
need (power strip, wall warts, midi merger), as soon as I get it
together I'll post a pic of it.
The rack sits on the lower level of my Quiklok stand and I have made
an adapter to fit the Doepfer D3M and my Triton (or another Doepfer
when I get it - I don't always need the Triton). My S80 then goes on
the upper level. If I only need one manual for the organ I can put
the S80 on top of the rack with the D3M on the upper level. With the
rack on the bottom the keyboards are not so far apart so it works
great.
Recently got a copy of 'Kind of black' by The Casualties of Jazz - a
whole album of Sabbath in Jazz style! great 3 piece (bass,drums,B3)
This one will have a home in the disc changer for a long time. Check
it out at http://cdbaby.com/cd/tcoj
I'll be playing with The Blues Gypsies at The Press Box in Anaheim
Ca Sat 28th if anyone wants to come and say hi!
