Subject:Rotary RT-20 arrived today; it might be the boss :-)

Surprise, surprise, a pre-order from last year turned up today, so I'm
looking forward to giving it a whirl tonight.

Initial impression, it sounds very much like the VK sim; only
disappointment so far is that I can't use a separate sustain pedal
because it switches directly from fast to slow to fast without ramping
using a pedal. The jack socket is intended for exp pedal which
switches off the ramp circuit.

Not mentioned in the brochure is that it does ramp bass and treble at
different speeds, and although there is only one knob to adjust
rise/fall time, altering the time taken to ramp, maintains the ratio
between rise/fall of the horn and bass rotor.
