Subject:They seek him here, they seek him there, that damned elusive Pimpernel

No offence intended by the title, just a quote from a famous novel.

The Pimpernel I am referring to though is an it rather than a him,
and is the elusive Roland RT-20, first outed I believe Namm July
2005.
After re-aquainting myself with the Roland VK-8M and re-discovering
the really excellent built-in Leslie simulator, I decided to try out
the RT-20 simulator with my XK-3, it should be a stunning combo.

It was first slated for launch, late September in the UK and then
delayed, and delayed.
Before Christmas Roland advised it would definitely be reaching
these shores by January as they had now had confirmation of
shipping, but having phoned today I was advised it will now be
february ( no year given ).

Any-one on the list have any connection with Roland at all and could
perhaps let us in on the mystery of the continuing delays. ( Perhaps
they keep tweaking the parameters from the files of VK_corral? )

I see stores in the States are advising they will have stocks by mid
January ( wishful thinking or fact? ).
