Subject:Re: A Subwoofer for Leslie 2101

I have already tried a Trace Elliott GP7 with two 10" woofers. The
bass was awesome, punchy as in a real leslie, but I lost details and
clarity in the mid and high range, even putting down the mid and high
levels through the equalizer of the GP7. It was really a bad sound,
despite I tried to tweak the amp and the leslie in all the ways.
So I thought about a subwoofer but maybe I have to try other bass amps?
Just a curiosity, why polyglass woofers are not suited for pro-music?

Anyway thank you for your answer jake!
