I'm currently in a band (5 years now) and the band leader was with Marty Balin's Band for about 5 years with Marty's solo band out of SF and knows alot of those people personally. He did a few Airplane(Starship) mini tours also back in the 80's. We were talking at the diner after the gig last week about some of those people. It may have been David Frieberg(sp?) playing keys for Quicksilver MS. He may have shared the keys duties in QS with someone else like he did with Pete Sears when Frieberg was in the Airplane, not sure about that though (Starship/Airplane - I can never remember the year they cross the name over)....

I never liked the Stones much but one tune I really
liked they did back when they were young was Little
Red Rooster. No keys in that song if I remember, but
it was a great blues number.
As I thought of groups in the late 60's I wondered
does anyone remember who played keys for Quicksilver
Messaenger Service? I don't think it was Quackenbush.
