Subject:Leslie 2121 opinions?

I just found a new, slightly dinged 2101 for $500. I felt like I had
to buy it :-)
I can get the matching 2121 for somewhere between $350 and $400. I'd
like to know what people think. Some early reviews by group members
suggested that the 2121 was not a good value. What do people think of
the sound? I frankly am not able to discern much in the store
environment and probably won't be able to return the unit. Who has a
2121 and gigs with it? How does it compare to the Mackie SRM450? While
we're on the subject, I've searched the archives but found no links to
a 2101 manual. Does an online version exist? If not, would someone be
willing to photocopy theirs and mail it to me if I prepay the postage?
