If you put your ear right up into a real leslie horn if it has the
diffuser cone in place(don't let it chop your ear off...) you will hear
the tremeloc-vibrato effect is very deep. the NE does that quite
well, and not to mention the earlier version of the effect is way more
AM-throbby, so the deepness of the vibrato is not quite as noticed.
That same effect can be had with a real leslie, by shoving the mic
right up into the horn; you'll get the throbby effect, but if you pull
the mic back, the vibrato gets deeper...
