I can't speak to the PSRE203, but my first keyboard with MIDI was the
PSR410. It was a constant part of my rig until I bought the Nord - got
lugged along for triggering the B3 sounds on my Alesis QS8. I threw it off
stage a couple of times during frenzied guitar-smashing,
drum-kit-overturning finales - I was REALLY wanting the Electro by that
time. :) I gigged it hard for years, using a soft gig bag to carry it
around. Damn thing still works.

It worked fine for my purposes. It would occasionally forget to send a
note-off message or two when I would do huge (e.g. whole forearm) smears up
the keyboard.
