Hi Steve!
First of all I have to say: Welcome to the group! You have found a place
to discuss and to learn about all kinds of organs. Usually in this place
there is a helpful atmosphere and here are a lot of people who really
know what they´re talking about. Don´t be shy to ask questions. Thats
what this mailing list is about.
Second, it´s not your fault that the discussion went that hot. Keep
asking questions.
To all the other gentleman: Please calm down and don´t take everything
so personally. As someone else said, these are OPINIONS. We will never
get to a point on which we have a list of "good" and "bad" stuff. It´s
music. There are not many things so personal and subjective as music and
what you think of it. The "sound" is an even more personal taste. So,
again, calm down. There are people who like their steak bloody, other
like it without any drop of water in it. You would not try to convert
them with harsh words to your view of how it shoud be either. Would
you?
Now, lets drop this never ending topic an look forward to the new year,
which will hopefully bring up new interesting music and personal
insight.
