For God's sake it's just an OPINION.. In addition, I said: "You will
PROBABLY want." not, "You WILL want."

You are correct, I have not heard the Leslie 3300. But as I own a 2101 and
have seven tube Leslies in my home, I think I know what a Leslie should
sound like. I also know that solid state Leslies usually sound like crap.
(and for the comeback of the Keyboard Magazine 3300 article, remember,
Suzuki is a MAJOR advertiser of that mag)

I am assuming that Suzuki has taken a page out of their XK3 design with
their little "glowing" tube to convince the unaware that these Leslies are
"tube driven". Well, we saw what happened with the XK3. Although the organ
is the best in emulating a real Hammond (remember, I gig with a Pro XK
System), it in no way sounds like a tube organ.especially through a 2101!
That is why I use the Speakeasy preamp/AMA. In my opinion it finishes out
the deal.

And please, take my opinion for what its worth. It is no more valid than
yours. But please do not insult your fellow musicians on this list of being
rude or pretentious, or that we would try to convert other members of this
list to walk our path and validate our purchases. That is just ridiculous.

Please believe me when I say that I really don't care of you buy Speakeasy
or any other manufacturer's products. Just please hold your personal attacks
on our integrity to yourself.

In a recent post you said "Also, since the 3300 has a solid state
amp. You will probably want a SE
Preamp / AMA rack. The nice thing about Steve's Leslies is that he is
incorporating AMA's inside."

I suggested that it seems to me that you are telling someone that a
piece of equipment that you have not heard will sound bad unless they
spend roughly half again as much on a SE product. That, to me, seems
a little rude
