If you guys want to say "Here is what I own and this is why I like
it" until you are blue in the face, have at it. It is when you write
(as you did recently) pretty much the following: I have not heard
what you are buying, but if you want to make it sound good (or at
least good to me), you will need to buy the new SE .... To me that
seems kind of rude, somewhat presumptuous and more than a little
pretentious. You post links to recordings you have made and claim
that they are accurate representations of the improvement you hear.
Well if losing the bass and thinning out the tone is an improvement
to you good for you, you found the solution. I have an XK-3 and a
Leslie 21 System and given a choice between what mine sounds like and
your improved version, I'll keep mine. I think I could mimic your
improvement by replacing the Raytheon tubes I currently have in it
with a pair of Sovteks and turning down the bass. But so what. I
don't care what sounds good to you. And I hope you don't care what I
like. It doesn't matter.

I now have a 3300. To me it sounds even better than the Leslie 21
System. It may or may not to you. But again before any of you guys
even heard one it was suggested that the SE product sounded better.
It probably will to you. Good for you. Again, it seems to me you guys
push this stuff so hard because you believe if you can talk others
into buying it it means you didn't waste your money.
