Subject:New Member; Asking For Advice, Leslie 3300 & H-S XK-3

I have been gigging with a B3 console & Leslie 122 for over 35 years.
I am currently playing in a 5 piece R&B, Blues, Latin Jazz band. I
recently ordered a new Leslie 3300 because I need the extra
horsepower to replace my 122 in some larger clubs situations. Well
the Leslie 3300s are still on back-order from Hammond-Suzuki and I
don't know when I will be getting it. They were supposed to be
available in November. Has anyone in this group played or heard one
yet? I would be very interested to hear any comments. If not, be
assured that I will write a review for you guys when I do get it.

I am also thinking very seriously about getting a H-S XK-3 (single
keyboard)clone to use in club situations where my console would be
impracticle to move, etc. I know I will also need a few extras. So
here are my questions: What would be the best keyboard stand, Leslie
speed switch and expression pedal to use with the XK-3 that would
give me the best "feel" compared to sitting at and playing my console
B-3?

What would be the best connector from the XK-3 to the Leslie 3300? I
will be installing a 1/4" output box to my B-3 to connect it to the
3300. So, I'm thinking to use the 1/4" connector for the XK-3 also.
What do you think? I want the connectors between the console to the
3300 and the XK-3 to the 3300 to be somewhat compatible.

I will probably use a footswitch for leslie speed control on both
also, although I've never used a footswitch for this before. I've
always used a half-moon switch on the console.

Sorry for the long post(on my first post)here, but this is a
substantial investment for me, hoping to make life easier on my aging
body and last for many years to come. But, I don't want to give up
the sound & feel of my console B3. So, that's why I'm turning to the
experts in this group to help me make the right decisions. I thank
you in advance for your comments and advice.
