Subject:Re: Looking for Good, Small and Cheap Piano Module

For about 8 years I used an Alesis NanoPiano module. I found the acoustic piano sound excellent (if slightly over-processed) and far superior in terms of touch response to the Kurzweil MicroPiano. You can in fact over-ride the preset reverb from the front panel, and that's what I tended to do. The 127 other sounds are fairly useless, with the exception of two electric pianos (basic Rhodes and "Suitcase") and a couple of organ sounds. But if all you want is a good acoustic piano sound, the NanoPiano does the job well and cheaple. Plus it's 64-note poly.
