Did you try it (122 AMA) before buying it?What amp are you using? What style
are you using it for.I play “organ jazz trio” and find that a lot of the
products on the market are indended for rock funk/r&b,which is “the” market
to target. How does it affect the bass(if you play bass)? What axe do you use?
Thanks in advance

I'll go ahead & butt in here: I'm running the new Hammond XM-2 module through a Leslie 2021 for organ trio styles, albeit a soft volume solo/sequenced format most of the time. After dialing in the setup as it is for a couple weeks, I took my SE preamp out last night for the first time & I can tell you it makes the bass explode out there for you. I spent a lot of the night redialing everything to bring it back under control. I liked the way it filled the upmost octave of the sound for you too. W/ just the XM & 2021 it lacked a little body up there, but no more. I plan on soon selling the preamp & getting the preamp/AMA combo. The SE made a more radical improvement on the XM than it had on my Voce V3/5 or Nord Electro rack setups & I was lovin' the sound of the XM before. I can't wait to see what adding the AMA to the signal chain will do for it.
