Some mixers have tip ring sleeve output jacks that are balanced if you use a
TRS plug. Its unbalanced if you use a guitar plug. Have you opened up
your mixer to see how the output is wired? If your mixer is TRS wired, all
you need is an adapter cable from Guitar Center with quarter inch TRS on one
side and XLR on the other side.

The XLR jack is usually employed to connect a balanced audio line, but the
Crown amp doesn't care whether it sees a balanced or unbalanced input. If
you mixer is unbalanced, be sure to use a short cable to reduce noise, but
its the same adapter cable as described above, just the sleeve wire doesn't
carry any signal. You can use a DI without hurting anything, but its not
necessary.

Yep. Just pay attention to the gain structure so that you don't overdrive
the Crown.
