Hi Greg (and Tom),
The CX-3 can be tricked into being the lower manual by either of two means:
- Use Local Off, and set the Upper Tx and Lower Rx channels to the same MIDI channel. Set the Upper Rx channel to a different channel.
- Use the Split button, and set the split point to High C. The CX-3 treats all notes below the split INCLUDING THE SPLIT KEY as Lower Manual.
