Last spring there was a mention in Keyboard Magazine that there would
be a software update for the XK-3. Hammond corrected that (although
keyboard has not) In a comment to B3 Player e-magazine and in a reply
to an e-mail I sent to Hammond they said there would not be a software
update because the changes that the XK-1 had would require new hardware
in the XK-3. The changes would eventually be in a new model but there
was no mention of when that model would be released. There is
speculation/hope that some information might become available by/at
NAMM.
