Yes the Receptor let's you combine sounds from multiple soft-synths. You
set up a "multi" and run different sounds in different keyboard zones, MIDI
channels, etc. For example I use M-Tron and Sonik Synth layered for
Mellotron sounds. Works great. It is set up like a mixer with effects
busses and master volume. Very well thought out and user friendly. Getting
the soft-synths loaded up into Receptor is probably the hardest part. I
have my guy Lionel at Petosa Music in Seattle do that for me as much as
possible. It helps always to have a great local dealer. I bought my Electro
and Receptor from him. I use an Evolution UC-33 to run drawbars and all
B4/B4 ll funtions. It has a template that lays over the top. Also one for
Pro-53. All the knobs for the old Prophet 5. Very very cool. Real knobs and
sliders. BTW IMHO B4 organ is the BEST clone out there except for the
Hammond XK's running in to a Leslie. I hardly touch my Electro for organ
anymore. Never tried B4 through a Leslie or Roadbox but have heard some
examples form guys here in the group.
