Hi Bruce,

I don't know what style USB it is called, I'm not that up on that stuff
but it definitely not consumer electronics.
Talk about small sales, the goal is 500 units by year end. 12K to 15K
each.

If curious.

Hi Mike,

It will probably get there, eventually. I'm a product designer, though,
and I wish I had a dollar for every time that someone has suggested
using a USB flash drive with a USB *client* device like a camera, PDA.
keyboard, etc. It seems like a great idea, but client devices can't talk
to other clients, unless some sort of USB host is placed in the middle.
And creating a USB host is 10x harder than creating a USB client.

There is a thing called USB-to-Go (USB2G) that can bridge the gap, but
it hasn't caught on all that well. Bear in mind that musical instruments
-- even mainstream ones -- have pathetically small sales figures when
compared to other consumer electronics. It makes it hard to keep up with
all of the new ideas that one sees in computers and MP3 players.

Regards,

-BW
