Subject:Re: humming sound in my cx3 need help

I was the one with the hum in the cx3 v.2
The hum was very evident with the volume knob from 0
up until half way. At full volume the noise
disappeared. The hum was also noticeable through the
headphone jack.
I took the unit to EPR ProAudio in Tampa, Florida
phone 813 232 3907.

The technician, Mike Jay, couldn't find anything
obviously broken, so he went through each circuit
board, re-soldered each ground and cleaned each
connecting plug. He told me that as he completed each
internal circuit board, the hum grew less, until it
was completely gone as he finished the last board. It
cost me about $220, but the hum is gone and the organ
works fine. The guys at EPR are very knowledgeable,
friendly and helpful. Hope this helps.
