I loved my ES7. But it was just too heavy to lug around to gigs. I already
have a Pro XK system so I did not need organ sounds. The rest of the
excellent acoustic library is available on the rack. Listened to a lot of
modules and even considered the Receptor, but for the price ($700 used), I
could not beat the Motif ES rack with the Vintage Keys upgrade ($35). Great
EP's and Clavs..

I'll be very interested to see how you do with the Motif ES rack versus the
Motif ES7. I had an ES7 for a short while and loved it except for not being
happy with the organ sound. I returned it and got a showroom demo unit of a
Roland V-Combo just after it was discontinued. I'm very happy with it, but
kind of yearn for the flexibility of the ES again. A rack might be an
option.
