Subject:Re: ABB's version of "Stormy Monday" - what's Gregg playing?


I had been playing it ALMOST right for years, and was happy to see
Stormy Monday transcribed in the 2nd edition of B-3 Player e-magazine
to get the "correct" voicings. The G chord is F-B-D and the half-step
modulation is these notes up a half-step.....F#-C-D#. By the way,
that transcription has the last chord of the turnaround identified
correctly but notated wrong....it's my favorite chord of the
song......F#-C-F over D.
