To save your back, and a lot of money (compared to the cost of a new or used vehicle), why not just buy a SMALL trailer (like those mini-U-Hauls)? Definitely low-entry, you can even have a small ramp to wheel in and out, and you have the luxury of detaching it when you don't need it.
Just a thought.

Oh I know that - it's HBS and being closer to 60 than 50 - the weight
would have been nothing to me at 30-40 years old. Now I get help
moving my Pro145's at 65lbs. What I need is a very low entry
van/vehicle, so I could just roll gear up and tip it in. If it was a
side entry van, I could go around to the other side and snag gear to
pull it in - but I wouldn't know where to start looking, at used car
prices. Wj
