When I was 15, my M3 went through an MXR phase 100. It was "interesting", great for those Genesis songs, not so much for those REO Speedwagon tunes (hey I was 15!) or Deep Purple tunes (don't ask, I wasn't even barking in the right forest).

I remember one local organist in the 70's who used to use a Maestro Phase
Shifter on his B3... If fact, I think that Lee Michaels may have done this
for a while... It sounded nothing like a Leslie, but it sure was
"interesting"...
