Everyone give up? OK - the piano, drums and organ were all recorded (one at

Clonewheel Wiki for an overview).....The drums, interestingly, use a preset
rhythm from the Casio, sequenced into a "song" with fills and variations using the
keyboard's "song recorder" before being recorded onto the computer.
Very interesting. My first keyboard after 30 years of not playing was
exactly that, a Casio WK-3000. It has a tremendous amount of sounds, a drawbar
organ and quite a few parameters for a cheap keyboard. In fact, I've gigged
with along with my Roland 300sx up until a few weeks ago when I replaced it
with my Roland VR-760. And up until a few days ago, I had all 3 set up near
each other so that I could make the 760 sound like some of the sounds that I had
created on the Casio.
Although the band leader put grey duct tape over the CASIO logo on the front
because he was a bit embarrassed by the name...lol.
I learned a lot from that keyboard. How to do layers and splits. And
actually, you can create tons of customized voices and store them in over 300
locations. Not bad at all for a first keyboard after many many years of not
playing.
