Since this is a new product, I am sure that Steve is wrestling with the MSRP
until he can tweak out how much production costs will be. A lot depends on
how many are ordered, available labor, etc.

Remember, Speakeasy is a very small company that refuses to "Spit Out"
product just for a profit. Don't be surprised if you hear from Steve several
times after your purchase to find out how much you like the product, or what
can be done to improve it.

I was one of the first buyers of his clone preamps, and it is still an
essential part of my sound. It is also built with skill and love from
someone who primarily cares about music, not the "bottom line".
