Subject:Re: XK-3 advice

In Upper/Lower mode, with the B (or any other) preset key pressed, the
left set of drawbars control the upper manual and the right set control
the lower. So in this mode they are not reversed but there is only
one "adjust preset" key. In A#/B mode with either the A# or B preset
key pressed, they are reversed in that the B key (still) activates the
left set and the A# key now activates the right set. This is probably
less confusing than if the set of drawbars the B key activated kept
changing. Also, when in A#/B mode and a preset key other than A#/B is
pressed, the right set of drawbars reverts to controlling the lower
manual.

Also, the upper and lower manuals can be un-linked so that when a
preset key on the XK-3 is pressed the upper manual's drawbars and all
other parameters for that preset change. The drawbar settings for the
lower manual and pedals do not. This is for when the lower manual for
the XK-System or Pro XK-System is attached since they have their own
set of preset keys.
