Subject:Shameless Nord Electro-Related MySpace Plug

So I finally got round to setting up the obligatory myspace site at:

www.myspace.com/onthelanding

The Landing is (to use myspace's keywords) my "Funk/Jam
Band/Psychedelic" project (you'll note that the 'sleeve notes'
certainly have an 'altered' state to them...).

Although I smugly claim that The Landing features Hammond, Fender
Rhodes, Wurlitzer and Clavinet, it is in fact the little red beast
providing all of these sounds, albeit with a bit of treatment here
and there (the EPs all come through a 70s Fender Twin Reverb, for
example).

It's called The Landing because we play and record on my landing at
home. The core tracks are all recorded live in a single take. We mic
the room rather than individual instruments, and the result if lo-fi
but completely 'organic' - which suits me just fine.

The music may not be to everyone's taste, but I think it's a nice
showcase for what the NE is all about.
